CORONAVIRUS

Response to COVID-19 Vaccine Oxford-AstraZeneca media reports

The UK Medicines & Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency, which is responsible for ensuring that medicines and medical devices work and are acceptably safe, have said that evidence DOES NOT suggest that the Oxford-AstraZeneca jab is linked to blood clots. People should still go and get their COVID-19 vaccine when asked to do so. Please read more by clicking here

Advice for parents of unwell children

Due to the current circumstances, all appointments are currently being triaged by telephone. Please be advised that no walk-ins are allowed at present. This to protect the safety of both our staff and patients. As all of our online appointment bookings are currently suspended, due to the patient safety screening process, please contact the surgery via telephone to make an appointment. If you do have an appointment at the surgery, we ask that only the patient attends the appointment without any family members if they are not needed. This is to help reduce the footfall of patients in the surgery.

We would like to remind you that anybody entering the surgery MUST wear a face covering, such as a fabric mask, covering the nose and mouth (these do not need to be medical grade masks) but this is an essential requirement when entering the building.

If you are looking for information regarding the coronavirus pandemic please visit the NHS website on coronavirus or the government website for regular updates.
