Dr Portergill is employed by the Practice. Dr Portergill’s surgeries are on a Wednesday afternoon and all day Friday

Nurse Practitioners

Alison Hand
The Nurse Practitioner's Minor Illness clinics are held each day except a Friday (See clinic times). She also deals with patients at the Asthma Clinic and Heart Clinic.

Nurses

Jill Dobson
The Practice Nurse is available for general health advice and well person screening, cervical smears, family planning, menopause and HRT advice, smoking cessation, travel advice and vaccinations & hypertension/diabetic care.

Healthcare Assistants

Denise Jones
The Health Care Assistant is available Monday - Friday her duties will include bloods, blood pressure (although not hypertensive patients), height, weight, urinalysis testing, new patient medicals, hearing tests, spirometry, ECG’s and smoking cessation.

Practice Management

Elizabeth Simpson
The Practice Manager is involved in the day to day running of the surgery, practice finance and deals with patient complaints.

Helen King
Helen is the assistant practice manager working alongside Elizabeth Simpson

Sue Lindsley
Our Information Systems Administrator deals with all computer records & updates

Reception

The Reception/Secretarial team are available for general enquiries and take requests for appointments, house calls, repeat prescriptions and ambulance bookings.

Maureen is our Senior Receptionist & should be the first port of call for any queries
