SATURDAY MORNING SURGERY

The surgery offers routine doctor appointments every Saturday (excluding bank holiday weekends) from 8.30am until 10.00am. This service differs from the previous Saturday morning surgeries we used to have.

  • The appointments are aimed at patients who are unable to attend during normal working hours

  • Appointments must be booked in advance as the telephone system will not be in operation

  • Doctors WILL NOT be carrying out home visits as all existing Out of Hours services will remain the same

  • Please note that walk in appointments WILL NOT be available and we kindly ask that this service is not abused

  • Finally we cannot guarantee which doctor will be available on the given day

Travel vaccinations are required when traveling to certain countries as a       necessary precaution. If you are travelling abroad and require travel vaccines always:

  2. Make sure you book a DOUBLE appointment with either Joanne or Alison

  3. If needing Yellow fever injection you will need to visit a yellow fever centre (Kepier medical centre Houghton-le-Spring or Chevely Park medical centre Belmont)
